My Winterland-Quilt should have a very cold and frosty look, so I only took light blue and grey fabrics for the small blocks. and the backgrounds.

Moose in Winter

First time I saw real moose was in the "Zoom Gelsenkirchen". Back home again I started at once with this quilt.

Snowman Quilt

I won this sweet snowman in a winterswap last year.

He was sewn by Barbara Schlag, Brackenheim.

I liked him so much, so he get's his own quilt :o)

Starsand

Size: 35 1/2" x 46"

The blocks for this quilt are from a swap organized by Susanne Froeschle. 

The stars should be "colored like sand".
As  you can see, there are many shadings of sand!

Noah's Arc

Size: 68" x 55" 

This quilt is a gift from my quiltgroup "Patchworkkreis Bergisch Gladbach" for my second son Julian.

Because Julian was born on February 2nd, 2000 I started my winterside with this quilt!
